I’m wondering if you’ve heard this story before:

“In 1953, researchers studying goal setting surveyed the graduating seniors from Yale University on their goals for the future. Only 3% had specific, written goals and objectives. 20 years later, when they tracked down the same graduates, the researchers were astounded by the results.   The same 3% were more successful, and worth more in terms of wealth than the other 97% put together. They also tend to have better health and relationships than the other 97%.”

I’m sure you’ve heard this, or something like this before, along with other myths that are often used within the personal development market.

Now what if I revealed to you that Judy Schiff, Yale University’s Chief Research Archivist in Manuscripts and Archives, has indeed confirmed it LAST WEEK to be a complete myth.   It’s simply not true.  It’s just another piece of sloppy propaganda the “gurus” use to misrepresent the validity of their paper-thin teachings.

Here’s my question to you – where are you now compared to where you thought you’d be 20 years ago?  Are you who you thought you would be?  Are you where you thought you’d be at?  Whatever the answer, I’d like to invite you to my next Teleseminar to talk about why you might not be, and why some REAL people are…and how they REALY do it.  Would you be interested?  I thought so J

EVENT:  If Only I Could Stop Saying “If Only…” Teleseminar

DATE & TIME: Thursday, April 30th at 3:00pm EST, 8:00pm UK

FORMAT: Simulcast! (Attend via Phone or Webcast — it’s your choice)

TO ATTEND THIS EVENT, CLICK THIS LINK NOW…

I only want you to call in if you’re serious, are actually willing to follow directions, are willing to share your results with your fellow classmates, and are willing to implement new and proven ideas.  The fact is that not everyone who’ll want in will fit the bill.  Some folks walk their talk while others just talk.

Please call in about 5 minutes early to introduce yourself, and I’ll “see you” then.

Take care,

Jonathan

P.S. There’s a very unusual story behind this class, and I’m embarrassed to say that it reveals several of my past failures.  You can get the details at http://instantTeleseminar.com/?eventid=7138308

Wow, what a weekend!

It was an honour and a delight to teach the Feng Shui Secrets live seminar again for the first time in nearly a decade.  Last time I taught these principles to a group there was no blogging, and overhead projector acetates instead of laptops and Powerpoint.   Ancient secrets and modern wisdom indeed!

Highlights for me included:

  1. Karen’s repeated lessons about patience, even from the I-Ching
  2. A lovely gift from Michael - thank you
  3. Aleksandra appearing unexpectedly - what a nice surprise
  4. Reunion of Alchemy Challenge teammates
  5. Debbie teaching me a new architect buzzword “sun path” which I’m going to trademark!
  6. Anna’s experiences with the water element :-)
  7. Me and Gillian both being 7 Metal Horses
  8. And I want Andrea’s t-shirt when she’s finished with it…

I recorded the entire weekend and the 2 day seminar will be available as an audio CD home study programme in due course.  If you want a copy, make sure you subscribe to my Feng Shui Secrets list over there on the page and you’ll be the second person to know about it!

Watch this space for details of the follow up teleclass a month later to check on the student’s results…

I recently asked for your questions about Feng Shui, and then I spent hours looking at all of them, and gave them my best answers.  Many of you have been conned or baffled by IRABO’s.

The good news is that the MOST of my loyal readers are fans and are enthusiastic about learning these principles.  That’s great news as I haven’t taught Feng Shui in over 9 years, but now is the time to let it reemerge as I’ve entered a 3 Tree House [sprouting].

THERE IS BAD NEWS HOWEVER…

And a lot of it!  In fact, I’ve finished a valuable report that reveals 8 crucial questions that you MUST ASK (AND VERY FEW ACTUALLY HAVE) to ensure you’re taking specalist advice from an experienced consultant.  Just type in your name and email address on the left and I’ll email it to you.

This report truly reveals why most people get confused about compass directions, conflicting Feng Shui advice and get caught out by IRABO’s [explained in the report]

I may upset a few people with this report so, I may take it down at any time if I see too many negative comments.

Frankly, I like the FACT that most people need to be conviced about Feng Shui.

I hope you enjoy “Feng Shui Secrets”!

Wishing You Success,

Jonathan

Wow! A short while ago I asked for the one most important question you have about Feng Shui and how to use it to attract better health, cashflow and good luck… and I just can’t believe the response!

The emails came FLOODING into my inbox - mainly because there was a problem with the comments box and people weren’t able to leave comments for the first couple of hours [sorry about that!] - and I am quite surprised at how many folks took the time to write back to me.

(And by the way, if you haven’t written yet, I would still love to hear from you!)

Quite frankly, as you’ll see below, some were quite desperate, looking for this to be a magic bullet.  Some questions were really profound, some comments were deeply sceptical and scathing in criticism.

Many people see it as a logical way to organise your space and thus organise your thoughts.  Others believe in attraction and the spiritual side of Feng Shui.  A few see it as deluded superstition.

Which side are you on?  Am I teaching the ancient science that created the compass and works on actual natural laws, or am I a delusional tree-hugger who bought his house and runs his business using principles that are absolute garbage?  Comments please…

I’ll tell you one thing that’s really clear - a lot of my best clients love the promise of Feng Shui - that by rearranging your external world then your internal world improves too - but many of you are incredibly frustrated because you can’t get a straight answer and keep getting conflicting advice.

You would think with all the millions of Feng Shui books and web sites out there, it would be a breeze to get directions you can trust.  But it just seems like most so called “Feng Shui advisers” want to over-charge you for some generic advice and no two of them agree! Let me give you an example:

Q: Where is the best location for the kitchen in a home?

“…the southwest is the most inauspicious location for the kitchen” - Steven Skinner, The Living Earth Manual of Feng Shui

“One of the most favourable sites would be the southwest” - Evelyn Lip, Feng Shui For Business

What I am working on now is compiling all those emails and comments you sent in - I thought it would be interesting to come up with a list of the top things that folks want to know about Feng Shui.

Once I get this data put together, I am going to put it into a nice report and distribute it for

free. If you want to get the report when it’s ready, just type in your name and email in the “Special Offers” box down there on the left of this page.

I am also starting a Feng Shui course by email for people who might be interested in my take on Feng Shui, having worked with real people in the real world since 1990 - people like Virgin Cinemas, Texstyle World, Marriott Hotels…

If you’d like to receive a short crash course on how to immediately apply Feng Shui to YOUR home or office in quick, practical baby steps written in simple language, then use the same “Special Offers” box to express interest.

Wishing you every success,

Jonathan

P.S. I just want to thank you again for all your great questions - some tougher than others - and if you haven’t sent yours yet, just use the comments box below to type in the one most burning question you want answered about Feng Shui… do it now.

i need some advice how you can make a house with feng shui i am new to this

fengshui is not really a decorating style, as most western people think it is. it is how the main door of a house faces (in the 360 degrees), which determines what kind of energy distribution (good and bad energies) you have in your house. you want the good to be in the rooms that you live most like bedroom, kitchen; and bad at the rooms that you dont live in, like bathroom, garage, hallways. this is like manipulating fate/ or your fortune.

but the only person that can help you is a person who knows fengshui.

please read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fengshui; it describes the theories/ concepts/ formulas under fengshui. and i am talking about fei xing or flying stars regarding the energy distribution.

with FS rules and always consult Feng Shui master?

Feng Shui is about creating a space where one can be comfortable and productive in your daily lives. The rich are not the only ones who employ the assistance of Feng Shui, people from all walks of life seek the advice of Feng Shui masters. The reason for it is simple, because Feng Shui has improved their lives and it works.

Feng Shui has been around for thousands of years. When it was first in used, only a selective few were allow access to this knowledge. The selective few was the Imperial family and nobel or rich families. However, now the times have change.

Now, anyone can have access to Feng Shui to improve their lives. You hear more about the rich using the Feng Shui then average people, because they are rich. Average people like you and I use Feng Shui as well with great success but we do not advertise about it. Usually a Feng Shui master will point out their rich clients as a form of advertising, so you hear more about the rich using Feng Shui then the average person.

In addition, because we do not have the money the rich have, we do not consult a Feng Shui master as often as the rich. In many wealthy households they have a Feng Shui master on their payroll!!!!

I just want to make it clear the Feng Shui is not only reserved for the rich. Anyone and everyone can benefit from the use of Feng Shui in their space.

Applying feng shui basics in the home need not be that complicated. There are some ways in which this ancient practice can be used to make the home flow with positive energy or chi. Here are some of the basic feng shui practices that you need to know and can easily apply to make your home as well as your life filled with positive chi.

Light, Air and Feng Shui

In order to fill your home with good chi, you may need to have good quality air as well as lighting. In feng shui, it is believed that chi flows through with the help of air as well as natural light. Because of this, it is essential to make use of these two elements to ensure that the home flows with good chi. To allow the good energy into your home, you would need to open your windows often to let natural air into the home.

You can also use air purifying plants or an air purifier at home to make sure that the air remains clean and pure. Also try to allow as much natural light into your home to allow good chi to fill your home.

Unclutter Your Home

Clutter is a known obstacle to the flow of chi. It can have an effect on health as well as the overall energy levels and quality of life. Too much clutter can drain your energy as well as impede good energy from flowing into your home or life. Getting rid of the clutter can also help get rid of the negative load that affects your life. By clearing clutter, you are creating a harmonious environment in your home flowing with good energy.

Know Your Feng Shui Birth Element

In order to understand better how you can use feng shui to achieve a certain balance in your life and home, you might need to know your own birth element. There is a certain element that corresponds to your birth year. Knowing what element your are born with can help you decide on what is the best approach to achieve that certain balance in feng shui. You can use your feng shui birth element to introduce the different expressions of the element into your home through the use of colors and the balance of the other complementary elements in your life and home.

Know Your Kua Number

According to feng shui, each person has his or her own kua number that corresponds to one’s date of birth and gender. The kua number also tells of each person’s energy needs.  In the school of feng shui called the Flying Stars, people may belong in either one of two energy groups- the East or the West. For the East Group, their kua numbers may either be 1, 3, 4 or 9.

For those on the West group, their kua numbers can either be 2,6,7 or 8. you can use your kua number to determine directions and orientation of structures such as your home or where you face when working in order to ensure good positive energy to flow through. These feng shui basics can help you start off in making your life and home flow with good chi.

2009 is the year of the Ox in the Chinese calendar.  How is Chinese New Year’s Day determined? In one sentence, it’s the second new moon after the winter solstice. It is based strictly on astronomical observations, and has nothing to do with the Pope, emperors, animals or myths. Due to its scientific and mathematical nature, we can easily and precisely calculate backward or forward for thousands of years.

Now what has this to do with you, other than being of mild curiousity? The thing that you might not know about me is that long before I was known as “the NLP + HGE guy”, my work was mainly around Feng Shui.  That’s right, your wee friend Shooey.  The Chinese art of placement and environment.

Now I may not be the stereotypical old Chinese man in a black mandarin suit, but I did professional Feng Shui consultations for Marriott Hotels, Texstyle World, Fiona Decorum, Virgin Cinemas as well as hundreds of 1:1 house and office consultations over the years

The simple truth is this - according to Japanese Astrology, there are certain good years and certain bad years, and it pays to know what kind of a year you’re in.  Some years you SHOULD launch a business or start a family, and some years you really should avoid!

Like I said, I was lucky [really?] that I found the right people to train with… my martial arts instructor initially, then William Spear and Febg Shui Network International.  After I mastered everything I could about Feng Shui, I launched my practice and was in profit from month one.  Coincidence?  Could be….

So why am I telling you this?

Well… this is something of an “open secret”… I have been waiting to give you the exact same system that I am using.

In fact, I have been waiting on this for almost three years. I even started a waiting list, and some folks have been on that list for a VERY long time.  But it just wasn’t appropriate until we entered a new year.  THIS year in particular.

Well, the wait is ALMOST over. It looks like we are only a few short weeks away from opening my first Feng Shui Secrets Weekend Seminar in 9 years.

But before I unleash this thing, I want to do one final check to make sure that this training reallyhas everything that YOU need. So I have this one question for you…

What is your one biggest question about attracting good luck, more money, being healthy or having meaningful relationships?

I really want to know… please enter your questions in the box below.

With so many readers, I can’t guarantee a personal response… but I can guarantee that I will personally read your questionsl. So go ahead and let me know - what is your one biggest question about Feng Shui?

 That’s all for now…

  Wishing you success,

Jonathan

P.S. I am very serious about this - and I really DO value your feedback. I need to know your answer so I make sure my Feng Shui Secrets seminar is perfect… what do you want to know about Feng Shui? Please type it in below now…
